As an ASO MEA you will be entitled to the salary with basic salary as 44900/-. And final salary is approx 60000/- after deductions. If you are posted in foreign, then you will get US $1800-2000 as a Foreign Allowance and US $ 400-600 as other allowances such as heating or cold allowance. - Director is the fourth promotion stage comes after five to six years
- Joint Secretary post comes at the final stage which is given after 4 to 5 years as a Director.

The government offices are bifurcated in five categories in foreign countries such as A+, A, B, C and Hard C.
